Das unabhängige Testlabor AV-Comparatives.org hat NOD32 als bestes AV-Produkt 2006 ausgezeichnet. Verglichen wurden 15 Antiviren-Lösungen verschiedenster Hersteller.
Andreas Clementi schreibt in seinem AV-Comparatives Summary Report 2006:
„The following products received the ADVANCED+ award in all 4 main tests of AV-Comparatives during 2006: AVK2006, NOD32, Trustport […]. AVK2006 and Trustport are multiengine Products […], while NOD32 is a single engine product. The negative thing of multiengine products is their negative impact on the scanning speed, as well as the multiplied false alarm occurrence.Therefore, the Overall Anti-Virus product winner of 2006 is: NOD32. The Overall Anti-Virus product winner of 2006 can also be called ‘best antivirus product of 2006′, as it performed well in various categories.”
